Sounds like a great idea.
But does it work? I depends. Who are you? Do people know you? Do you have a huge following? If you can say yes to that? Then yes you can. The influencers are making a killing doing only that. Have you seen Instagram? It’s the preferred social media for them to market.
And don’t forget TikTok. Facebook is for old people if you ask my 18 year old daughter.
I know people that market hard on Facebook. I mean they just go for it and they are getting results. They post everyday several times a day on there profile and if they got a page they do it there to.
What about my friends and family on Facebook?
If they can’t support you or think it’s to much? They can stop following you. Think about it. It’s your page or profile. You can post what ever you like. It’s an other thing if you spam them on messenger, SMS, e-mail. Or #tag them all the time. Or blast them on their own profile.

My take on it is this. Do what makes you happy. If you have a business or product or something else you care about? Share it as much as you like. Maybe try to do it tasteful for better impact?
